Overview

Business objectives associated with financials include to:

  • Improve information for management decision-making and to aid system users in maximizing the return on citizens’ investments;
  • Promote transparency in government by providing the public with on-line self-service access to information;
  • Improve the level of service provided to many of the state’s internal and external customers through web-based functionality including vendor self-service, customer self-service and workflow;
  • Expand business functionality to include fixed assets, inventory and vendor payment set-offs;
