This course covers the processes necessary to set up, manage, and complete a physical inventory of assets. Users learn how to set up and schedule a physical inventory; how to create and review an extract of assets to be inventoried; and how to upload inventory data using a special Excel spreadsheet. Also, users learn how to check for duplicate tag and serial numbers; how generate results and transactions; and how to load inventory transactions to asset management tables. Finally users review previous physical inventories and learn how to delete data from completed inventories.
