Implementation of the SWIFT maintenance upgrade was completed over the May 12-13 weekend. It’s important that users clear their cache and cookies in order to use the upgraded system. The Maintenance Pack (MP8) upgrade includes software patches and improvements released by Oracle since 2010 that will keep SWIFT aligned with PeopleSoft's latest improvements.

While this is considered a major maintenance upgrade to the SWIFT software, most of the changes from the implementation are behind the scenes and invisible to end users. However, there are some visible changes in data entry, specifically in voucher entry and the Strategic Sourcing module. In addition to these changes resulting from MP8, there is also a small change related to voucher approval.
